Pleats and Tucks is a small designer-wear house in Hyderabad. Every piece on this site exists exactly once. When it sells, it goes. If you want it, we make it again for you rather than keeping a rail of the same thing.
Why one
Because you'll be photographed in it
Occasion wear has one job: to be the thing people remember. That doesn't survive walking into a reception and finding the same blouse on someone across the room. So we don't batch. A design is drawn, made, photographed and listed, and then that piece is somebody's.
It's a harder way to run a shop. It also means nothing here is filler.
Sold, but not gone
The design outlives the piece
We leave sold pieces on the site on purpose. They're the honest record of what we actually make. If one of them is the thing you've been looking for, say so. Most designs can be recreated in your measurements and your colours, usually in about21 days.
It won't be identical. Hand-set beadwork never repeats exactly, and that's rather the point. It will be yours.

How we work
Slowly, and in person
We'd rather talk to you than take an order silently. Send a photo of something you like, a date, a colour you've been given to match, and we'll tell you honestly whether we can do it and how long it takes. Sometimes the answer is no.
For anything stitched we'll go through your measurements with you before cutting. Ten minutes then saves a remade blouse later.

We're based in Hyderabad, Telangana, and we ship across India. We're not a storefront you can walk into yet. Everything runs through this site and WhatsApp, which keeps our costs down and our prices honest.
